Development of a diagnosis tool based on color measurement of the eye

Some pathologies affect the color of the white of the eye. We propose to develop an image processing tool to make automatic color measurement. It might be an interesting alternative to biological analysis for diagnosis. Our goal is to use mobile acquisition system such as smartphones or tablets.
The first step of the trainig period will be to develop the calibration process of the acquisition system in collaboration with the Imap group of the LISIC lab (Julien Dehos).
The second step is the development of an offline software for image post processing.
The final goal will be to integrate processing on the mobile system for real time diagnosis.
The expected skills for the candidate are color image processing, C++ programming (openCV), mobile development (ios/android).
